Transportation Improvement Plan

The current 2023-2028 Transportation Improvement Plan can be found here:  2023-2028 Transportation Improvement Plan

The City maintains a six-year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP), updated annually, in accordance with the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 35.77.010 .  This plan, which matches the currently adopted CIty Capital Improvement Plan, identifies the transportation improvement projects the City plans or desires to build during the six-year window of the plan.

The current Transportation Improvement Plan was adopted by City Council at their November 29, 2022 meeting.

The City provides the Transportation Improvement Plan to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) for integration into the State's Transportation Improvement Plan (STIP).  The City also provides our Transportation Improvement Plan to the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC).  PSRC is our regional body that coordinates transportation-related project plans and potential state and federal transportation funding opportunities for local municipalities and transportation agencies in Snohomish, King, Pierce, and Kitsap counties.
